WE WON THE PRIZE !
Our book "Tea and Mediterranean Cuisine" has won the BEST IN THE WORLD TEA BOOK award.
My wife Anna and I were in Paris the 3, 4 and 5 of March to collect the prize. On Wednesday evening a Welcome Party was held in the multicultural space of events and exhibitions "Le Centquatre"in the Rue Riquet. The next day, Thursday, in the theater "Folies Gergère" began at 9 hr. of the night the awards ceremony of the GOURMAND INTERNATIONAL COOKBOOK AWARDS. And then the magic words were heard: "The winner is, Tea and Mediterranean cuisine. Authors Paco Lostal and David Sole. " And, of course, that gave me the opportunity to go on stage and microphone in hand, let go of my little speech, in english, of course (I had been preparing it, just in case), in the meantime, behind me, a bigscreen projected the front cover of our book.
Back in Tarragona, as it should be normal in these cases, we had to meet some of the media.
